S: "An army protects its civilians and fights on an open battlefield."
Hamas are not an army, Steve, and it will fight from the most advantageous terrain that it can.
If that means fighting from a city then that`s what it has to do, and there is no rule of war that says that it can`t.
For Hamas to fight in "an open battlefield" would be suicide, and so military necessity insists that it fights in an urban battlefield.
It is entitled to do that, Steve, regardless of your sour grapes. |
