| you`re completely right. these are all wars where the military objective is not well defined; therefore, it is impssible to win the war, and eventually the population is gets tired, since themselves they see no benefit from continuing. at least that is the case for the us. but there is a difference for israel, the population is actually under palestinian fire, and is benefitted by the idf action. it`s a continuous struggle for survival for israel, so its continued survival is the victory, not complete elimination of terrorist threat |
