| A lot of analysis being put forth, theses days. Most troubling, the suggestions of UN peacekeepers to be deployed in Gaza. Amazing how short memories are. Was it not the UN that invoked a truce in Lebanon. Under the premise that Hezbollah would be dis-armed and arm-smuggling be curtailed. Has that come to pass. And is all fair, when UN monitoring eyes are closed. Why would diplomats believe this time around, we`d find new stellar results. Are we asking the UN to do the impossible or the unworkable. Maybe we can learn from previous mistakes. And propose solutions that are feasible or at least have a chance at success. |
