| As an American I am very happy that - at least - the US abstained at the UN and did not vote as usual against the resolution. Our foreign policy needs to stop being manipulated by special interest lobby(ies). We need a truly independent and self interested foreign policy. Yes, Israel has the right to defend itself - as everyone else`s mother has - but it is about time that we start treating Israel as a regular/normal country; let`s stop this preferential treatment that is doing so much damage to US image overseas. |
