| No UN resolution had ever been issued against Hamas to make them stop their missile and mortar attacks against Israel during a self-proclaimed truce.Be it for the fact the UN doesn`t reckognize Hamas as the legittimate Palestinean Government, although democratically elected. Or be it, the UN Security Counsil hasn`t still been unanymous about Hamas being a terrorist organization, which Hamas is being rated by the European Community. The fact is that the UN blames Israel for trying to disarm its enemy, whilst it never had biased Hamas for having attacked Israel during a self (by Hamas)-proclaimed truce. Provided these iniquous legal premises which would not even withstand the exam of first-year law student, UN can issue the resolutions it wants but cannot expect Israel to respect or fulfill them if the resolutions hinder Israel to be free from daily missile and mortar menace. Civilian casualties, due to the Geneva Conventions are all accountable to Hamas. |
