| According to a report in the Jerusalem Post, the driver was not killed by a tank sheel but by sniper fire. And his two wounded colleagues were evacuated, at great risk to themselves, by IDF members. The two are in hospital in Askelon siffering from bullet wounds. This would not be the first time that Hamas or Islamic Jihad have tried to close down the crossings. It is a pity that UN appatchniks are so biased that they always accept the Hamas version rather than await a proper investigation. And when, as in Lebanon, the independent ivestigation exonerates Israel the UN never admits it was wrong or apologises for its slanders. |
