First I would like to say that I do not agree with Gil who mentioned the earthquake.
I follow the Turkish news daily and the extreme outrage of the Turkish administration and public is hypocritical.
1. There was never such outcry in Turkey when thousands of children and poor people were subject to Genocide in Darfur. Furthermore President Bashir of Sudan was welcomed 2 times by PM Erdogan in 2007 and Erdogan visited him also.
2. Turkish defense [or excuse] for the forced Armenian exile has always been that Armenians were fighting for independence with the help of Russia and France. Today Hamas is fighting Israel with arms received from Iran. Why is it that you can accept Turkish excuse as legitimate and yet Israel?s defense against Iranian proxy Hamas illegitimate?

You see the huge hypocrisy?

But I assure you G-D forbid if there is another earthquake in Turkey Israel will be there first. I will be mobilizing the Sephardic community in Queens and Brooklyn myself.
