All,

Israel will take over all the areas of Gaza that are not big cities - probably 70% of the land area.

Israel will not leave until a `monitoring` force is in place that is not Hamas. Hamas will lose the ability to shift arms from the tunnels to Gaza City and the firing areas.

In addition, the UN ME coordinator wants to put the PA in place of Gaza.

Look for a deal to `de-occupy` Gaza officially with Hamas no longer in charge of most of Gaza. An international force dominated by Egypt and Turkey will be placed in the areas controlled by Israel. The rest will be controlled by PA troops.

Gazans will be flooded with aid and trade courtesy of the EU.

Hamas totalitarian vision of block captains in every mosque having every body that misses a prayer arrested plus permanent war will be a bad memory.

Since Israel never called for regime replacement or the destruction of Hamas as a war aim, simple survival is a loss - not a victory.
