It`s simple. Because what you are reading from the IDF media releases and right-wing propaganda is in the most part the truth. As far as Al-Jazeera is concerned, I have not seen many neutral pieces or other interesting view points. Always remember that in Gaza there was not one Israeli civilian or soldier living in the strip for the past three years and, despite this, rockets fell on Israel on an almost daily basis. Since Israel handed Gaza to the Palestinians no effort at all has been made to develop economically viable industry except the importation of tons of weapons and explosives.
Remember also that Israel supplies most of the utilities to Gaza, such as electricity even when rockets continued to be fired. Also do you know any other country in the world that sends its enemies hundreds of tons of food and medicines even when rockets still fly over the border. As for the Israeli press, it is mostly left wing and very cynical by any standard. |
