The Intl Community demanded that Hamas recognize Israel, recognize past agreements with Israel, and renounce violence. The cause of the rocket fire and this current war is the Hamas refusal to meet those demands.
Because of its refusal to meet those demands the only way that Hamas can communicate with Israel is by the rockets. And the only way that Israel can participate in the conversation is by shooting back.
Hamas` refusal to meet the demands is because its goal is not two countries side by side in peace. It`s goal is one country, ruled by Hamas.
Hamas will continue to speak with its rockets as long as it is able. Israel will talk back with its armed forces as well. |
