Israel HAS been following a tit for tat strategy. Before operation Cast Iron, Israel repeatedly closed borders in response to rocket attacks, but Hamas used this as a reaspm fpr additional violence.
This much is clear to a lot of people, and so Israel already enjoys a large measure of international support. Leaders from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United States, and the Czech Republic have all condemned Hamas` response to Israel`s tit for tat strategy.
This article requests a continuation of the status quo, but with a twist: a 48 hour truce. But wait a second, hasn`t Israel already unilaterally ignored these rocket attacks for years?
