Israel can not allow the Palestinians to have their nation, Chris. It has too many of its own settlements squatting on top of the land that this nation will require. Israel doesn`t want to dismantle those settlements, and refuses to discuss the very idea of any other outcome other than: "those settlements are to be gift-wrapped and handed over to us as a present". If Israel won`t remove the settlements then no nation-building can take place. They are in the way, you see.... |
