The student group asks whether the children of Gaza are not children (deserving of protection) but they don`t ask whether the children of Israel are children deserving of protection. Given that Hamas rockets are offensive and the Israeli campaign defensive, its just the usual anti Israel nonsense. Then there are the students who are volunteering to be suicide bombers that would target Israelies, including children, indiscriminately.
Having said that, students should feel free to protest peacefully against views they don`t share. Unfortunately, the Iranian student protest was not entirely peaceful and, also, not entirely informed or balanced. |
