| The writer has forgotten the basic dynamic driving the conflict - Israel wants peace; but only on its terms - as in the West Bank where it can have the collaboration of the rulers and continue building settlements. What hamas is offering is peace with a price - an end to occupation. Dismantle the settlements and lift the siege on Gaza and there is the possibility of peace for both sides. |
