| Everybody knows that the rockets & rocket components are tunneled in from the border with Egypt. Rafa should be emptied & dismantled, and the border area reoppupied. Dig a trench 30 meters deep and 100 meters across. Install a meter of concrete on the Gaza side & fill the tranch with seawater. Build two bridges as the only crossings to Egypt (with checkpoints). Patrol & control everything within 100 meters of the canal; install mines & wire for another 100 meter buffer zone. A ground operation without reoccupying the border is like going around a house killing flies, then leaving with all of the windows still wide open. |
