It is not necessary or even desirable to have air raids and ground invasions occur simultaneously. See Gulf Wars 1 & 2 as proof. The Israeli air raids have destroyed weapons caches that would be used against Israel in a ground invasion and supply lines have been cut. Furthermore the Hamas leadership have been sent into hiding. Hamas is now a ship without a rudder. Provided Israel can keep the foot to Hamas`s throat the ground invasion when it occurs will be successful due to the extensive air raid which preceeded it. |
