| There were a large proportion of America-hating Americans who, just as these Israelis are doing, denounced their country`s military as war criminals and protested at every chance they got. However, free speech is the perogative of a western democracy. It is not a luxury to be enjoyed by only a few. Therefore, these Israelis should be as free as the Vietnam-era Americans to make plain their feelings on Israel`s attacks on Gaza. That`s the way a democracy operates, after all... |
