That Gazans should not worry about their brethrens in the West Bank or East Jerusalem. That Gazans should accept to live with trickled aid from Israeli controlled passages to the outside world. That Gazans do not need to have access to the sea even if they live on the Mediterranean. That the 1.2 Million Palestinian Refugees now living in Gaza should forfeit their rights and homes in pre-1948 Palestine. Just like Palestinians, Gazans don?t get it. Just like Gazans, Israel hating Israeli Jews don?t get it. But Shavit gets it. Thank you Haaretz for letting Shavit Illuminate us. |
