.... utterly unable to figure out why the unilateral withdrawal so miserably failed to make the inhabitants of Gaza happy enough to forget about two million of their brethren still occupied in the West Bank.
"By showing forgiveness toward Palestinian fascism they turn their backs not only on Israelis but also on moderate, freedom-loving Palestinians." (Ari Shavit)
A. Shavit, whose bad-faith is revolting. First, because Gideon Levy - against whom your words are clearly directed - has never given any indication of forgiveness toward Palestinian fascism. Then, because every sane-minded person still remember how Sharon and his government, in summer 2005, turned "their backs on moderate, freedom-loving" Mahmoud Abbas, and on all those who had elected him to Chairmanship by a clear majority, only six months earlier.
Mr. Shavit, fooling only those most willing to be fooled. |
