| Barak is outflanked by other political heavywieghts and he knows it, but that does not mean he is not right to wish for a break for humanitarian aid and time to assess the situation on the ground. He is one of the best militarily, but as a politician? well..... One must give it to him regarding his performance so far. That he should try to influence the political considerations is fair game. I for one at this moment hope that he continues after the hostilities. The end scenerios for an end game have been considered, but the eventual outcome will be a compromise as usual. |
