If you want to be rational then you should accept that Israel`s occupation of Palestinian land illegal under international law is the root cause of the terror. Cut out the root cause by negotiation not by genocide. Any rational person understands that any settlement will have to be a compromise on both sides.
It is clear that Israel wants to choose war. Too many people with axes to grind. Israel has a very diverse and fractured society which to a large part is controlled from both inside outside by political and religious influences.
I really don`t see much hope at the moment. Like two bullies both sides need to be dragged apart and made to toe a more rational line of thinking.
