Let’s just get this – my next door neighbour says I don’t exist and have no rights and I can therefore indiscriminately kill innocent civilians. But if my next door neighbour acts in self defence, after issuing warning after warning, and kills my combatants and incidentally some civilians they are the criminals, notwithstanding that I place my combatants in civilian areas. Tell me who is the criminal - Israel or Hamas?
