Your premise is incorrect. Israel cannot destroy Hamas per se but can and will degrade it to the point where it will be happy to accept an unconditional cease fire.
I have many contacts in Europe and there appears to be very little hatred towards Israel as you wrongly suggest.
I detect an overwhelming desire to see the fight against Palestinian terror dealt with once and for all.
