The current war strategy is somewhat short-sighted. What exactly is the end-game? Reoccupation? Who the hell wants that? Is it to stop rocket fire? Can Israel really do that without a full scale invasion? What is the exit strategy?

Stopping now would be a good idea. Wait a week while international pressure is on Hamas to seize firing rockets. If they don`t, hit them hard and fast again. Wait a week. Repeat. This maximizes the international pressure on Hamas. This maximizes the physical and emotional damage on Hamas and the Palestinians in the minimum amount of time that Israel will take the heat for it. This is the way to establish new rules for the game. Invasion is exactly what Hamas wants and there is no good exit strategy.
