| The best outcome is for Fatah to administer Gaza. If Fatah and Hamas are bitter rivals, why not let their "police" forces take over after Hamas is removed? Israel could sustain an occupation of Gaza, but only at a very high economic and human cost. Egypt is too weak, they`ve already caved in to Hamas demands to allow missiles and prohibited weapons into Gaza. Egypt is also wise to not get involved in occupying Gaza. |
