| The buildup of arms along its northern borders under the eyes (and supporty?( of UN troops should have taught Israel a lesson. Just as the inernational community forced an end to the Yom Kippur war, without allowing Israel to march into Cairo, the rest of the world sees Israel as the Jews` state and has no love for us Jews. There was no condemnation of the rocket attacks before Israel started firing back and if Israel allows the international community to dictate its terms for stopping the Gaza action, there will be no condemnation when Hamas resumes attacks against Israel. I was at the UN in November 1947 when Arab countries voted as a clique against the partition of the remaining pieces of the Palestinian Mandate. *Britain had over 2 decades earlier given most of the land to Jordan) The Arabs swore then to kill alll the Jews. I do not think they have changed!! |
