| One way or another, Israel will wind up killing several hundreds or more Palestinians and suffering 2-50 fatalities herself. Then she`ll be right where she has been all along. Her only recourse will be to lift the blockade and hope the rockets stop. And she has no one to blame but herself. She has created a cornered victim, and that victim has no choice but to struggle. There`s another -- and even blacker -- irony. Israel has to have this victim. Without it, she has no national identity. |
