| I read in Haaretz that this operation was planned months in advance, and approved before the Palestinians the first qassem after the expiry of the truce. All this "only doing it to stop the qassems" is therefore just so much hooey. More likely is this: trying to rescue some deterrence after the 2006 Lebanon fiasco. Shooting fish in a barrel sure will do that. It is sad that Pals must die to strengthen the Israeli ego. Sure, you`re tough. Pat yourself on the back. |
