Perhaps Israel should appease the Arab world by not responding with overwhelming force. They are always complaining that Israels response needs to be "measured". In othwer words, if one Israeli is killed, Israel should retaliate by killing no more than 1 Gazan.
I agree in principal. i think Hamas might quickly cease sending rockets over the border to land haphazardly in Israel if Israel would respond in the same way. If 80 missles a day started raining down on Gaza, haphazardly, how couls anyone complain that Israel was using excessive force.
I live in the desert. Las Vegas, Nevada. If Mexico started sening missles here, I would expect my government to make it stop. I have no doubt they would. How long would Pakistan put up with 80 missles a day coming over the border from India? |
