Everyone already knows that attacking a symptom rather than the underlying cause never works.

It is a stop gap measure at best and can cause death to the patient at worst.

Israel could wipe out Hamas and then "Black Saturday Brigades" would be formed and the resistance would continue.

Resistance to what you ask?

Resistance to the occupations that spawned Hamas and indeed Hezbollah.

Without attacking the root problem of Israel`s various and illegal occupations the resistance will never end.

People don`t like occupations. Public opinion tends to favor the occupied, and not the occupier.

The saddest part is the confirmation of Israel`s domestic politics being the basis for these attacks.

An election to be won by body count.
