| Its breathtaking to hear Arabs about this conflict. Words have no meaning at all in their mouths. Its all strategic, its all barbaric, its all demented, its all so unconnected with reality. Barak`s job is to protect Israeli citizens. Where were these loudmouths as Israeli civilians had to suffer intolerable and non ending and, obviously, life threatening rocket attacks. I`m not even referring to raising a voice against the evil nature of these attacks. I`m talking about understanding that Israel`s tolerance for these attacks had to end at some point. And also understanding that Israel`s only alternative is to violently attack Hamas assets which are carefully placed in civilian areas. While I am genuinely sorry for these civilians, particularly the children who have effectively been taken hostage by Hamas, we can`t forget that these civilians chose Hamas knowing full well what its policies are. The inexhorable logic of that choice is now unfolding. |
