| Barak must explain to every Israeli living near Gaza why he approved - over IDF objections - the shipment of truckloads of bagged, refined sugar(40 tons worth) into Gaza along with the 40 truckloads of actual humanitarian supplies just sent (reported by other Israeli papers but not by Haaraetz). Refined sugar is an essential component of kassam rocket fuel which has no role in human nutrition at all, an empty-calorie luxury only. He just sent in enough fuel for 2000+ more kassam rockets. Eldad is right. If that isn`t treason, what is?? At a minimum, if this was "merely" another manifestation of Barak`s legendary arrogance and inattention to detail, he should be fired. It is inexcusable stupidity that demands much more than just the usual glib, flippant responses from Israel`s self-styled "most decorated soldier". |
