Olmert is a fool. What is puzzling is that he has nothing to gain from it. Unless , he thinks he can retire for 4 years and return after 4-6 years.
There is no way Syria will sever it`s ties with Iran or Hizbollah. Bush is totally correct- Olmert is offering the Golan for nothing. If Bashar will agree to the staged withdrwal from Golan , he gains and Israel gains nothing.
The same as the evacuation from Gaza. What did Israel gain ? Destroyed flourishing Israeli communities, and moved the terrorists closer to Israeli cities. We have a strategic assett and a security barrier. So, instead of the barrier, Olmert wants a worthless piece of paper??? Isn`t he a FOOL ? The most secure border Israel has today is the Syrian border. Why change the status ? A FOOL , is an understatement !!! |
