| All, Yes, the Gazans can`t overthrow Hamas as humiliation of the Dogmush clan demonstrated. However, Israel can invade Gaza and drive the Hamas government underground. Yes, there will be casualties. Israel will have to undertake a number of `Jenin`s. Arab propaganda will be vicious. However, Israel can offer the International community an `end to occupation` in return for a Gaza version of UN SCR 1701. Israel will withdraw in favor of a UN/Arab League (Egyptian) force and international official recognition of the Israel/Gaza border. The PA is recognized as the legitimate government of Gaza with election in the future pending `pacification` of Gaza. Look at the `failure` of the Lebanon War. The Lebanese Army (not Hezbollah) is on the border. The UN has recognized the Israeli border. Only three missile attacks in almost 3 years (not by Hezbollah). Lastly, Israel gets recognition of an `end of occupation` and eliminates 1.5 M Arabs from the `One State Solution` threat. |
