Strip and we have no intention to return to it, yet if the newly established political entity that came about there attacks Israel, its citizens and soldiers, Israel must punish that agressors harshly.
Part of such action must be the closing of the crossings into the Gaza Strip and the ending of the supply of electricity, petrol and monetary notes into it.
Another part is the isolation of the Gaza Strip diplomatically, as long as its authorities refuse to recognize Israel`s right to exist, refuse to adhere to signed agreements, and as long as they continue with their attacks on Israel and Israelis.
And finally, Israel must apply military pressure that will cause the leaders of Hamastan whether they wish to continue to conduct their affairs regarding Israel the way they have.
P.S. No peace will come to the region until Gilad Shalit is safe at home, unconditionally, and here the Red Cross must demand to visit with him, something the Hamas has not permitted up to now. |
