The longer Israel procrastinates and refuses to force Hamas to talk, the more Israel will continue to lose control of the situation. Each period of temprary truce-no truce has given hamas the opportunity to gain more of a foothold, dig more tunnels, and acquire longer range rockets. Time is not to Israel`s advantage in this matter atall. It`s time to stop mulling useless offenses, time to stop Hamas from mulling other violent alternatives, and to make a 180 degree turn.
The blockade is not working, a full scale military action will not work, and there is no time for more procrastination. Talk to hamas now before we totally lose control of the situation in Gaza. |
