You have a curious mindset indeed.
You insist that the Golan is a useful "high ground" for any future war, without understanding that attempting to hang on to it guarantees that future war will happen.
Because, sooner or later, Syria will attempt to grab back by force that which she can not get back by diplomacy.
After all, take the Golan out of the equation and Syria has no more reason for wanting to continue the "conflict" with Israel than Egypt or Jordan had.
Or has.
But keep the Golan? You make inevitable the very war that keeping the Golan is supposed to help you fight.
What`s the point of that, when giving back the Golan prevents that war from actually happening? |
