The Conference of Presidents does not represent the Jewish people in America. This group as well as the individual and collective institutions they represent, are not democratic and there isn`t any broad participation in this institutions of the Jewish people in America --particularly truth for the working class Jewish and those who see their Jewish identity compromised by these despotic organizations. The vast majority of Jewish people are unaffiliated, many reject these organizations and find them corrupted at their core.
These presidents have access to financial and political resources, many of them are wealthy beyond description and I respect the fact that they decide to contribute to charities and education, but they do not represent the silent voice of the majority. |
