You say that as if "gaza" is a whole thing unto itself. It isn`t. The Palestinians of Gaza are a smaller part of a larger whole, and that whole is "a people" who want "a state", and that state includes not only Gaza but the West Bank as well. Israel will not allow the Palestinian people their state, and because of that the Palestinians are attempting to hurt Israel in the only way that they can. By firing rockets. From Gaza.
