| I did research to find out if Eritreans are christian jews; surprisingly, half of the so called Tigrinya and geez is pronounced and accentuated the same was as hebrew. Our names is pronounced and accenntuated the same way as Hebrew. We get circumsised 8 days later the same way as Orthodox jews. We are frugal as the jews, we feel and think alike. We have similar personality and a sense of inner layalty to each other. I always felt Isreali than an Arab. I was felt sympathy to what happened to the jews in Germany. I always felt it happent to my own people. Now that I have done quite a lot of research I am feeling more convinced that we have some jews influence; however, I am not sure to what extent. I have counted almost seven generation and all my grandfathers have hebrew related names. |
