| According to Turkish newspapers the shoes were made by a Turkish company in Denizli Turkey. Although the company is not [at least yet] using it as a publicity campaign, many ordinary Turks seem to be very proud of this. The fact that; 1. In most of the Islamic world average people still use this kind of violent expression [he also insulted the president calling him kelb=dog] 2. A father can offer his daughter to this man [most likely without her and his wife?s consent] 3. These acts are welcomed by the majority in the Islamic world Indicates to me that they are still living in the middle ages. |
