You think that any criticism of Israel`s actions in Gaza is some kind of endorsement or appeasement of Hamas.
Your kneejerk reaction to any questioning of Israel`s policy is "Hamas = bad" and that`s the limit of your thought process. You think the fact that Hamas are bad instantly nullifies any discussion of whether Israel`s actions are strategically wise or humane. Has it ever occurred to you that it might be possible to criticise Israel`s actions in Gaza despite Hamas` extremism and ugliness, or is that a mental leap too far for you?
As soon as anyone criticises Israel, you immediately start talking about the faults of the other side in order to avoid contemplating any possibility that Israel might also be capable of stepping out of line from time to time. |
