On that stupid tunnel thing. The one where they could have used tried and true US border tactics but instead aggressed into Gaza and broke the ceasefire. That revved up the usual tit for tat retaliation that will escalate to a heart wrenching and bloodthirsty crescendo before settling back down right into the same morass that the conflict is currently in. If Israel would only make peace and give up the idea of keeping the stolen land. Then the world could sleep better at night, the "beacon of light" would be untarnished by the hard to get out stain of decades of illegal occupations. There`s been no forward movement by Israel on the terms of the original ceasefire, the siege has only tightened, so Hamas` sees an extension as fruitless. It`s hard to disagree with that assessment.
