"Palestinian society sees selling land to Israelis as treason, and the bullet-riddled corpses of Palestinian land dealers turn up every so often around the West Bank."
Trying to acquire land illegally through fraud or trickery is bad. Killing someone for selling lad legally is evil.
I am glad that the AP and Haaretz put together this article about specific wrong-doings of specific settlers. However, wouldn`t it be more fitting to write an article about Palestinian land sellers who have been murdered for conducting their business legally? Isn`t murder more news-worthy than fraud? Shouldn`t killing be punished before forgery?
What is wrong with the media and the world that this abnormality makes the news while regular murder gets glossed over? |
