Only Ashkenazim delude themselves into thinking that we are permanently ensconced in the region, and the Arab world will accept us as bone fida members of the Middle Eastern community and they wil accept us with `open arms.
Nothing can be further from the truth. As far as the Arab world, including Syria is concerned, we are `interlopers` andand they wil not cut ties with a long term Middle Eastern ally like iran In favor of a country they consider `interlopers`. It`s all tactical and Asad is interested in is getting the Golan back and wading his feet in the Kinneret. As far he is concerned , we dhouldn`t have been on the eastern side of the Kinneret in the first place. In short ,he wants complete capitulation. |
