It amazes and embarrasses me to see a culture which was ethnically cleansed five decades ago, so readily use similar tactics against other semites.
Arabic is a semitic language. Palestinians obviously speak Arabic. So in essence what we have is an evolution or growth of an anti-semitic Jewish State.
What truly scares me is the rationalization that I see in the feedback. We heard this type of language and philosophy in an anti-semitic Germany sixty years ago. It was wrong then, and it is wrong now.
Settlers surrounding houses, children inside, stones, IDF soldiers doing nothing. If pictures of that violence were displayed in black and white, many older Israelis would cry, as those scenes mimic the disgusting hatred and callousness of Germany in WWII. |
