| H A R S H I S R A E L ? s R E A L I T Y Ehud Olmert, who resigned in August 2008 after public pressure, still remained caretaking Prime Minister, until newly to be elected Knesset will vote-in a new government, which earliest could become effective in March 2009. ? on this basis PM Olmert cannot continue to travel and represent State of Israel to foreign countries including the proposed meeting in Ankara, with Turkey?s Prime Minister to deal i.e with most important issues like possible proposals to Syria etc. Unfortunately so far the Knesset has not taken upon itself to put up a voted question, concerning Olmert?s position in this highly impossible / anti democratic, legal retention for atleast 7 months after having resigned as head of government / Prime Minister. A real absurdity but unfortunately legal in a completely vacuum - Even the months ongoing criminal investigation on various possible criminal offenses could not change the legality of Olmert?s retaining his Premiership: a n d E h u d O l m e r t u s e s t h i s ? i n t e r e g n u m u p t o t h e h i l t ? w i t h o u t h a v i n g a n y p a r l i a m e n t a r y v o t e d s u p p o r t , B U T K n e s s e t h a d n o t v o t e d t o r e s t r i c t O l m e r t ? s a u t h o r i t y / a c t i o n .! T h e s e a r e a l l t h e l e g a l f a c t , ? W I T H O U T M A K E U P ? Now Olmert continues his various foreign visits as legally representative?s Israel?s Prime Minister, discusses and deals with heads of foreign government issues, makes suggestions all on behalf and in the name of the State of Israel whilst all these governments, he deals with are knowledgeable and continue bilateral and other matters / discussions partners no and are aware of the situation in this unique / impossible situation. They continue most probably for the own benefit political problems / questions and in the hope to gain points in all matters concerning Israel?s and its neighbours and their mutual future relationship. Olmert?s arguments / position will definitely leave ? political foot prints ? for later Israeli government to deal with them even without having legal but defacto / verbal value.
