It`s had military supremacy in the region for decades and had total dominance, or as much as it wants, over the Pals as well. Yet it`s nowehere near peace. I susepct your attitude may have something to do with that:

I have to say that`s not the way it looks to me. Jews and Arabs lived peacefully together in Palestine until the Zionist enterprise of building a Jewish state in Palestine began in the late 19th and early 20th century. Most people are happy to welcome a limited number of immigrants who fit in with the local culture. Most people would be unhappy about increasing numbers of immigrants with a different culture and who had the openly expressed intention of building a homeland in the country into which they were immigrating.
It`s like if Mexican immigrants deliberately concentrated in Texas and then tried to declare Texas a Mexican, not US homeland. Think the Americans would like that? |
