This is a chicken and egg problem. Killing of civilians is a crime no matter how you look at it.
If we eliminate the cause of the problem, the problem is solved.
The cause is the illegal occupation of the west bank and east Jerusalem. The world court voted 14-to-1 that Palestinian land is occupied illegally. Also UN resolutions 242 and 338 call for the unconditional withdrawal.
Since Hamas was elected democratically, Israel has been doing everything in it`s power to make it fail, including assasinations, the siege of GAZA, etc.
Until, Israel abides by the international law, nothing will be solved. |
