I would hope that when the UN sends human rights investigators they would send someone who has reason to go. Is it not clear that Falk already knows what he wants to say about Israel and Israel`s activities? I would think that he has no need to go. The types of things he says do not require him to be anywhere near Israel. After all, would not truth get in the way of what he wants to see? If the UN wants to send a human rights commissioner, they are free to do so. Why not send someone who can look at the situation a slight bit more objectively? Expanding their duty to include the acts of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank might also be a little helpful.
